How long are emails kept?

Every message is automatically deleted 48 hours after it arrives. There is no way to extend that.

Can I use it for verification codes and signups?

Yes — that's the main use case. Mail arrives in near real time (under a second via WebSocket push) so OTPs and magic links work.

Is there an API?

Yes, a public REST API with no authentication and no rate limits. Full docs with curl / JavaScript / Python examples at /api.

Is it private?

No third-party analytics, no fingerprinting, no ads. Mail is stored only long enough for the 48-hour window. Anyone who knows an address can read its inbox — this is for throwaway use, not secure communication.
